Testing that Reaches the World
Scaffolding, Shoring and Anchoring Systems Testing
The safety measures derived from the ANSI & OSHA standards overseeing scaffolding stability and safety can never be overstated. Clark Testing provides proof load testing of scaffolding, shoring, and anchoring devices per customer specified standards and industry standards to meet the safety requirements. These safety measures as detailed in ANSI A10.8, CAN/CSA S269.2, ANSI/SSFI SC100-5, and OSHA 1926.451 are critical for the safe use of scaffolding assemblies.
Clark’s structures laboratory is able to apply static and/or dynamic loads to simulate field applications. Our unique capabilities enable scaffolding manufacturers to duplicate or simulate the environmental conditions in the field thereby ensuring safe operation and compliance with regulatory standards.
Our structural load capabilities allows the Clark team to replicate load, motion, pitch, wind, torsional fatigue and any other variables introduced in the work area. Cark’s engineers and test technicians can develop a test program to simulate load profiles and field environments. The structures lab at Clark can apply high loads in various axis to validate scaffold and accessories such as shoring and anchoring devices.
Whether it is destructive or non-destructive testing of scaffolding, Clark has the capabilities to simulate the environments used by end users. In addition to load testing, Clark also provides vibration, environmental, seismic and accelerated aging on scaffolding. Clark’s Dynamics lab has conducted UBC, IBC and AC-156 building code testing for scaffolding manufacturers.
