Space and Satellite - Clark Testing

Space and Satellite

The commercialization and increasing demand of rocket launch and satellite deliveries has created a competitive landscape for suppliers throughout this highly technical industry. In addition to satellite deliveries, there are new orbital challenges including missions to the International Space Station (ISS), Mars 2020 landing and returning human beings back to the Moon’s surface thereby reinvigorating the space industry

The increased frequency of satellite, microsatellites and CubeSat launches calls for a parallel demand of rocket systems to carry the payloads into orbit. Clark provides product validation and equipment qualification services for space companies launching spacecraft into Low Earth Orbit (LEO) or Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO). With a robust array of test services, we offer critical component testing for prelaunch and mission validation. Clark Testing has played a key role in supporting manufacturers of rockets, spacecraft, satellites and launch systems. We continue to collaborate on technical advances and commercial disruption. Clark Testing’s technical staff and laboratory infrastructure enables companies to simulate the mechanical stresses of rocket launch and space travel.

Our mechanical labs provide vibration, shock, structural load, fatigue load, thermal, environmental and corrosion, propulsion simulation, EMC and electronic systems testing. Testing services are also available for hydraulic fluid, lubricants, and grease.

Clark Testing is proud to provide testing services to manufacturers in the space and satellite launch industry. Whether the payload consists of critical satellites for national security or the introduction of Suborbital Space Tourism, Clark stands ready to continue our role in supporting the space industry.

Testing Services

Thermal, Environmental and Corrosion

Clark Dynamics has the environmental chambers to accelerate aging and validate functional performance for longer product life expectancy. Clark can accommodate large component aging for extended periods simulating containment internal conditions as high as 170C.

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)

Common to automated systems and electronics in the amusement park industry is the requirement to ensure electromagnetic compatibility of components and mitigate vulnerability to outside sources. Emissions and Immunity analysis provides insight as to the potentially undesirable propagation and reception of electromagnetic energy and radiofrequency interference.
