Clark Testing has a long history of testing mechanical actuators and valve actuators for Nuclear, Petrochemical, Marine, Steel and other industrial applications. We test hydraulic, pneumatic, manual and Motor Operated Valves (MOV’s).

Clark’s has the capabilities to simulate the full complement of environmental conditions to accelerated life cycle aging of valve actuators and mechanical actuators. Testing is completed under Clark’s ISO 17025-2017 quality program.

Clark’s environmental/climactic chambers accelerate thermal aging and validate functional performance of power generation equipment under extreme environmental conditions. Clark’s environmental lab features large walk-in chambers 16’ X 16’ X 20’ accommodating large components with thermal capacities equaling: -70⁰c to +170⁰c.

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)

Clark Testing provides emissions and immunity analysis to eliminate undesirable propagation and reception of electromagnetic energy and radiofrequency interference throughout the electrical distributions system. Clark’s EMC/EMI Chambers provide IEC and IEEE validation services to mitigate radiated emissions and qualify components for installation in power generation services systems.

Seismic Testing

Clark Testing’s seismic laboratory can qualify electrical components or systems to meet the rigorous standards of IEEE, AC-156, OSHPD or UL. Clark’s independent triaxial seismic shake table is 15’ across the top plane and can accommodate large systems up to 20,000 lbs.
